QuickBooks Quik Tip – Adding an Icon to the Icon Menu Bar

Posted by on Jul 11, 2011 in QuickBooks Tips | 2 comments

In the previous article I explained to you how to use the QuickBooks FIND feature. The next step is to show you how to add that FIND Icon to your Icon Menu Bar.

There are so many icons to choose from, that QuickBooks does not always place them on that menu, or the ones that you use on a daily basis.  So let’s get busy and add a Find icon to the menu.

From the Naviagation Bar click on View and then Customize Icon Bar. This will open up the screen shot to your right where I will click on the Add tab.

The next screen that opens up will be the Add Icon Bar Item, where from a list I will locate and highlight Find Transactions.

My final step is to click on OK and then OK and my Find icon that I have added to the menu bar, now looks like the screen shot on the bottom.

Footnote:www.quickbookstrained.com is now mobile friendly. From the web address you can choose Options/Mobile formatted and the site will appear in all its living colour for you to view. Check it out.
